¡Demos lo mejor hasta el final! Let’s give our best until the last day! All right amigos we had a great time with our last celebration about el Cinco de Mayo. Thank you to all my students’ parents who helped to make that Fiesta one of the best! Now it is time to focus our attention in the Final Exam and last project (Mi arbol Familiar).
- PORTAFOLIO revision is May 7th and 8th.
- TAREA: Last project will be a Family Tree due on Monday May 7th. Don’t forget the sentences or description!
- SPANISH FINAL EXAM: May 15th, Tuesday with open binder ;).

- As the end of school year is approaching, students and teachers are on the countdown to the last day of the school which will be on Tuesday, May 22.
For this coming week:
UNIT 4: Comer en familia. Essential Questions:
-How would you talk about food and beverages likes and dislikes? – How would you describe your family and family tree? – How do you ask and tell ages in Spanish? – How would you express possession, give dates and make comparisons?

Content: Food and beverages, interrogative words, present tense of -er and -ir verbs, the verb hacer, family members, possession.
Lunes: Ss update their agenda for the week. Teacher will clarify the homework for the week and assessment expectations. T presents -er and -ir present tense conjugation. Video from History Channel about 5 de mayo. Students will present some of their Family Tree projects. Portafolio Revision 1
Martes: Continue vocabulary and grammar practice book activities. Family trees some more presentations. Portafolio revision 2. Independent work: Crossword puzzle makers to practice all year vocabulary.
Miércoles: Quiz -er and -ir conjugation and use. My own crossword puzzle drafts plus clues description.
Jueves: Correction of -er and -ir quizzes. Crossword puzzle last day for final drafts.
Viernes: Vocabulary assessment. We will exchange crossword puzzles for a fun way to practice vocabulary ¡Feliz fin de semana!
For the last 2 weeks: Classwork and practice, also we will have make up opportunities before the gradebook is closed. Finally, we will enjoying our last movie of the year, it could be: Sweet 15 (Quincieañera- 1990) or Under the same moon (La misma luna- 2007).
